It seems that the second shirt.woot derby ended in a tie. So, woot offered both shirts for $10. Yep, two American Apparel shirts delivered for 10 bucks.
They sold out 987 units in 7 minutes and 26 seconds.
Sure, they are losing money on each order, but they make it up in volume!
i agree @ the 10 spot ... i should get my first one tomorrow (says the tracking)
i'm interested in the packaging, print and estimated cost
i think it would be great to be in their shoes... posting a new design everynight, having something sell out in 8 minutes lol rushing to burn screens, having everyone ready to start printing at night to knock out the shirts for fulfillment the next day.
If any of you are keeping tabs on the w00t shirt forums, how are the w00ters dealing with the AA fit? I'm curious if they think they're good shirts of cheap one because they're so thin and small.

The only way I could do that is if I stole the shirts and printed heat trasnfers with my best friend's printer/inks and shipped them with my boss' stamps and boxes.

There does indeed seem to be a wide spread sentiment that the shirts are cheap. How ironic. And, of course, lots of complaints about sizing.
Saw one post where a guy said his shirt had a small hole in the back. Surely they're not using irregulars.
not sure why they bought the automatic screen reclaimer $$$$$ i would of put that money towards a gauntlet or a Oyo
I think they probably bought a lot of equipment they didn't really need... reading that (interesting) blog entry leaves me with the impression they were sucked in by the gadgetry of it all. Kind of appropriate given the nature of Woot I think.
