Default T-Shirts for Dummies?

I am reading ALOT of posts/threads/topics and absorbing all that I can. This is a VERY informative site. THANK YOU! But my problem is that I'm lost in the lingo. I don't understand terms and techniques and how plastisol differs from duracotton for example. Is there a resource that can help? A "T-Shirts for Dummies" guidebook perhaps? Where do I get started to comprehend what I am reading? I hate to keep asking very basic questions on this site and would very much like materials to study to ask your experiences on things I don't understand not explanations on very basic terms. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

I haven't read this, but it has been recopmended here - Amazon.com: How to Print T-Shirts for Fun and Profit!: Books: Scott O. Fresener
Also try the FAQ threads.

(Rodney will probably follow this up with a link that explains everything and make me look like a chump. .)

You could also try this book about the heat transfer industry: TLM Supply House presents I Made That!, the How-To book for setting up and running a heat transfer business!

Also, if you come across a term you don't know the meaning to, you could try the "glossary" search tag here: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/tags/glossary/

Or the SGIA glossary: SGIA Glossary of Terms

Or just search google for that term and you'll find an answer.

The more threads you read though, the more you'll understand the different terms used and how they apply.

If you need a term defined and you can't find an answer, go ahead and post a request for a definition/clarification. I'm sure there are others who are reading who have the same question you do.

If you post the question and get answers, you'll not only help your own learning, you'll help those who come after you and need answers (but my be shy about asking)

Glossary? That's an innovative idea. Who came up with that one? (Man I feel like an idiot. A Keymaster I am not. HA!)
