Default How Is This Done?

Hi, new to the forum and new to printing. I customize shoes but is not enough of a standalone business for me so I am going to start printing tees/clothing also to help me through the quieter times, and also to expand my services.
I have read through all the faq's and am confident that when the time comes, I will be able to use the basics and teach myself the rest.

One thing I saw online was this Scull N Dice 2/3/4 & Fifteen Minutes converse - Hypebeast Forums

I had no idea how it is done - I mean, surely the shoe hasnt gone in to a normal heat press.... any ideas or tips for me?

Thanks!!!

Heat iron. Most model airplane hobby shops have them. You'd just apply the transfer vinyl by hand. Wouldn't be really fast, but the look is unique enough it'd probably justify the extra labor.

thanks for your response... I had a quick look on ebay for a heat iron, and once I had filtered out all the hair straighteners, I still couldnt find what I was looking for. Possible to give me a link so I can see the product?

thanks again!

Glad to help.

I've never tried it personally, but I agree with SomeSailor. I think it could work.

I think a hat press will work. I use my hat press for all kinds of applications. ....JB

It looks like heat press vinyl with a hat press. The thing that caught my eye was the tightness of the print in conjuction with the lace area seam. Very time involve work with the different color layers. I would guess those sneaks would be expensive as they are total custom. I could sell that look with my customer base with a few simple refinements..just might throw a pair out there and see what happens.
