well I have a buddy that I worked with for a while who got some shirts made and was starting up his company... His label was called GIT SWOLE its a work out line... or rather a gym rat label.... anyway he sponsored a body builder friend of his at a small body building show up in venice beach. All he did was show up wearing his stuff cheer for his buddy wearing his stuff and hand out t-shirts. Apparenty a few body builders were digging his style and liked where he was goig with it... 1 being a doctor(a huge doctor bythe way) and he said he wanted to invest money in his company. And all he needed to do was give him all the info and that kind of stuff. Who knows if he really did.... dude kinda was flakey/spacey... doesnt work with me anymore so I dont know if that ever amounted to anything.
Point I am getting at is kriscad is right... money really is everywhere. If your label is about a certain subject or geared towards a certain thing. Best be all up in the mix. Money will find you. |
