I have a shirt by a company called OBEY (not sure if it matters). The shirt is very thin, and the print on the front is the Kremlin in red with the words OBEY on the bottom. The print on it feels slightly rubbery, like it's not screen print.
Any idea what it might be? Plasitisol? How can I tell? Also, how do I find out what shirt (American Apparel, Fruit of the Loom) the shirt is printed on?
Lol seems like he didnt. Well It might be some kind ok Vinyl. There are different vinyl finishes. I had a Special K (the cereal) t shirt, that had this effect. I liked it.
It can be something else tought.

Imagine a very thin layer on top of the shirt material. It feels like a really soft rubber. Totally flexible, and it isn't harmed by the washer or dryer.
If it's a high density gel print, where do I find this gel?
Check out this site designsportswear it was posted in another thread and has a lot of spacialty kinds of printing, gle, flock, foil, glow, and many more.
Rutland, Wilflex and Union sell High density Gel. It is a clear base that needs to be printed on a low mesh frame with a 300-400 micron cap film. Pretty expensive yet more than likely exactly what your looking for.
