We are a bit confused on the various processes of getting our designs onto shirts, screen printing, heat, DTG, dye, etc. Any information on these or where i can see examples would be great. | | | | | |
One of the best ways to see the different printing methods in person is to visit a tradeshow like
Imprinted Sportwear Shows or
NBM Shows: Where People and Business Connect! . You'll see
DTG, heat transfers, screen printing, dye sublimation all in person.
Another option is to visit your local screen printer and ask them to show you samples of printed designs. You could also contact
DTG printers and ask to buy samples.
I sometimes find it useful to look at it a different way: instead of trying to figure out everything there is out there. Figure out
your designs and how you want them to look and then make inquires on the best way to achieve what you've designed.
If you go to a local mall or retail store with t-shirts, you should see some examples of t-shirts that you like, and you'll be able to discuss with potential printers (or ask here) how that t-shirt was made.
