Does the location of running online t-shirt business matter for buyers? i mean do t-shirt buyers hesitate to buy from abroad?

Non-US people are entirely familiar with buying from abroad, so most non-US western buyers would happily buy from any trusted country. A good slab of US customers would buy from abroad if they feel sufficiently confident.


While not exactly fair, I suspect Turkey may be classed outside that group of trusted countries by many though (people not trusting the postal system etc).

Nick, thanks for your honest opinion.

we thought working with global logistic firms (UPS TNT) with an insurance and a tracking number would break this suspicion but i guess it is not enough.

Any thoughts from US people ?

I'm from the US and Nick pretty much summed it all up

To add to it...I think in order to build confidence in the US buyer, I think you would just need some basic things like:

- professional website
- responsive customer service
- english speaking phone operators
- guarantees
- great products
- easy payment methods
- reasonable shipping and clearly spelled out transit times
- clearly written website copy with no grammar errors
- XXL sizes
