Depends on the textures. Different textures can be done in different ways. Puff ink (screen printing), flock (screen printed or heat transfers), appliqué, etc.
The ecko designs do utilize specialty inks.
High density, gells, blowing agents, glitter, liquid silver, gold. Ice base, rock base, faux suede and so forth.
Rutland, Union and Wlflex all have xlnt specialty inks

so are these just special inks or do they require a special technique?
I'm doing silk screen, will it work for this method?
and where can I get more information?
yes these are screen printing inks yet will require a lot of testing and extra materials.
usually need to use lower mesh counts. 60-80 mesh, thick capilary films, 200,300 & 400 micron thickness. Not easy at all, yet very rewarding adn cool effects.
art has to be modified for the various techniques and inks, bases, modifiers.
