Hi all -
Not sure where else to ask this and I'm confident you can give me an honest opinion. We have a new soft goods division for our company that will put out T-shirts, hats, hoodies, shorts, women's sports apparel, etc.

Here's a quote we received on one of them and was wondering if you can tell me if this is a good price.

American Apparel Boy Beater Tank (3308): qty 35 at $8.50 ea (includes screenprint).

Oops...sorry about that. Just 1 color.

And no shipping due to them being local.

Also just received a quote for port authority flex fits hats (C865) at $18/ea for qty 26. On top of that $65 digitizing and $40 setup.

The hats seem high but then again...I'm no expert.

A good way to see if a quote is reasonable is to get bids from about 3 different companies and compare them to see how close they are to each other.

Very true. I was just hoping someone would chime in and say whether or not it seems reasonable, or great price, or outrageously overpriced...instead of waiting for quotes from (3) sources.

On top of what you quoted, or that's averaged into what you quoted?

If $8.50/pc is your total cost, it's an okay price (certainly not great, but not terrible either I guess for a small order). If the screen fee is on top of that it would drive your cost to about $9.65/pc, which would really push it over the edge.

Thanks. That's the kind of answer I was looking for. yes the $40 is on top of the price of the tank. But I guess I should also take into consideration that I do not have to pay any kind of shipping.

Your price that you got seems about average for my area.
Not having to pay shipping should really not have to be taken into consideration. If they were shipping it to you then they would charge you extra for that also, so it's not like your getting an added bonus.
