Default Neck width question

I'm trying to find a mens or women or unisex t-shirt without a huge 1" ribbed neck.

I'm liking the Gildan ultra cotton for the fit, but the ribbed neck is quite wide.

Does anyone know of such a t-shirt with a relatively thin neck less than 1 inch? Preferably 1/2 inch or so?

Thanks much

Default Re: Neck width question

Off the top of my head, for women's shirts: the organics from organictees have a thin neck rib, and Hanes Silver For Her is particularly slim. Gildan Ladies is about half an inch. American Apparel is the full inch (and with a tighter neck). I think Bella is thinner, but I'd have to check to be sure.

For men's shirts... I know some styles of Alternative Apparel have the thin neck ribbing. In general it's more common in women's shirts.

That's not much, but it's a few data points. If I get the chance I'll look at some of my samples tomorrow.
