I am looking to get starting in the T-shirt business and have a few questions:
1) Are there blank t-shirts without any tags?
2) Which type of relabeling is the easiest, yet still looks professional?
3) Which type of printing is preferred? (i.e screen printing, heat press, etc) Which is better?
4) If I form an LLC for this company, will that be sufficient?
5) What about graphic design? What formats are acceptable? What resolution? How do you present to screen printers?
Apologize for the basic questions, but any help will be greatly appreciated.
Not really. There are some options (like a few brands that do tearaway tags), but basically no... shirts come with tags.

Removing the label and screenprinting a replacement into the neck.

Screenprinting is better/best. Preferred will depend on who you ask (if you ask customers the answer will again be screenprinting or "huh??").

Most formats should be acceptable, so long as you're not using something really whacky whoever you're working with should be able to deal with it. Resolution is 300dpi at actual print size for raster images, or better still use resolution independent vector images.

Anvil, Gildan, Hanes, FOTL, 100% , 50/50, etc.?

There are a lot of "opinions" on which is best, so it will really depend on your preferences and your target market.
If you search the forums, you'll find lots of answers. We have a wholesale t-shirt forum that lists lots of great brands and places to buy (like SanMar, SSActivewear, AlphaShirt, TSCApparel, etc)
