Hello, I'm trying to get my t-shirt business started but am having a hard time locating the products and services needed to succeed. Keep in mind I'm in Ontario Canada... if that matters at all.
One of my main inspiratioins is Christian Audigier's t-shirts. I will probably start with something basic like this

Eventually I'd like to move into more complex designs such as this

Where can I find a well-priced, reputable company to handle this kind of work? And in the beginning... I won't be sending thousands of shirts at a time.
The best t-shirts that I have found are from TQM in Los Angeles
Blank T-Shirts Wholesale T-Shirts California High End Blank T-Shirts Los Angeles CA Blank T-Shirts. I am looking for top quality blank t-shirts... would you say these are up there? Anything closer to my home?
As for needed software... am I right if I buy photoshop and Illustrator CS2?
I know I must be missing some things. T-shirts, photoshop and illustrator, a place to put my designs on the t-shirts, and a label maker. What am I missing?
Also, is there any recommended reading... based on anything from design-production? I have some great ideas and company name... but am having some problems putting it all together.
