Has anyone ever used "5dollarcustomtees" for printing?
Has anyone ever used the online printer 5dollarcustomtees? What was your experience with them? What attracts me is that they will make a short run of 25 for marketing purposes.
Also - for those of you that are religious about screen printing and never heat transfer their work - do you have your own equipment then?
How does one get started in a respectable way, if they want to do screen printing ... any suggestions?

There are many printers both online and offline who will do a run of 25 t-shirts.
When you get down to 6 and 12 pieces, that's when you'll have a hard time of finding a printer to handle that short of a job.

Some do, and some don't I would just subcontract it out instead of learning the process of screen printing.
But some people like to do it themselves (or own screen printing shops), so learning the process and buying the equipment isn't too much of a challenge.

Rodney thanks ... do you feel comfortable recommending any online printers that have a fair balance between quality/price?

I both own my own equipment and use other people's, but I don't think that's necessary. I wanted to do the printing myself so that I could experiment, not be limited by other people, better understand the process for the sake of design, use my hands, etc. It depends what you want to focus on though.
