Default Fringe and etc.

So I'm going to a concert next month and my friend and I are making T-Shirts. Besides putting glitter and lettering on it I'd like to do something with the bottom and the sleeves. I've seen people fringe them (if that's what it's called.) I just need something quick to do with a pair of scissors. Thanks in advance.

Thumbs up Re: Fringe and etc.

with t-shirts, because they are a jersey knit, the fabric will not really fray.

how they did it in the 60s/70s on t-shirt jersey knits, was cut into the shirt in thin strips and make a knot at the end of each strip "Fringe". The knot at the end of each fringe will add a little weight to the fringe tip and make it hang better.

I think this is the simple easy wayt to get it in the grooooove.
