I use the LTclickship label from PlanetLabel.com Each sheet contains 1 4 x 6 mailing label and a small 3 x 3 label for your records. This works for me because I like to have a paper copy of my orders and I don't rely on a paperless system. The cost is $8.00 per 100 sheets.
Some companies carry sheets with 2 4 x 6 labels on 1 page, but I read that you should only run a label through your printer once. If you only need one label, there could be waste.
I use web ship sticker labels from DHL. They're free and they're the perfect size for all the shipping information. I've been using them for years and never had a problem.

Bill can you be a bit more specific? Where can one find these products? What product number are you using? What program are you using with these labels that works well (Click-n-ship, Stamps.com, etc.)?

Sure. You have to make an account on the DHL site before you can order the web ship labels, but that takes a minute and is free. After you do that, go to the order supplies page, and select as many as you want of the WebShip/CorporateShip Labels. They also have a ton of other supplies such as boxes and envelopes that you can order for free if you like. Submit your order and in a day or two, you'll have your supplies at your door step. After I receive the labels, I use them on the USPS click and ship site. I print the label, stick it to the package, and drop it in the outgoing mailbox.

EDIT: Opps, I found them. But it appears you can only order 50 at a time? That's not too many, unless they are sent in packages of 5 or 10.

Excellent. Do you know what labels they are specifically? Do they have a product number? I've yet to sign up for click-n-ship, but you might have saved me some time + cash. I appreciate it!
Thanks Bill! Have you encountered any problems with ordering a few times a month? I do about 50 orders every two weeks or so.
Thanks again!
Nope, never any problems like that. I once ordered twice in a week and the second time they sent out a stack of 200. So maybe if you order alot, they'll do the same for you.

Sweet! Thanks Bill! You saved me time and money, and that's a good thing!

UPS used to offer free labels, but when they notice that your UPS volume is less than the free label volume that you're ordering, they cut you off.
I have a feeling that DHL will change to a similar policy soon once more people try getting free labels.
Since then, I've switched to a dedicated "thermal" label printer. It's cool because it uses no ink (it prints with heat), so I don't have to waste black ink printing shipping labels. I can now use one label printer for both UPS and USPS labels. The printer I'm using is a Zebra 2844 Thermal Printer. I got both the printer and blank labels from eBay pretty cheap.
I also recently switched from using stamps.com to endicia.com
