My questions about lawsuits revolve around material, hazards, false claims/advertising and things of that nature.
In other words, what would be realistic examples of why a tshirt wholesaler or retailer would need business insurance?
For example:
- Has anyone been sued for a shirt being a choking hazard to someone?
- Has anyone been sued because a shirt's material or printing technology claim wasn't proven to remain in tack over a long period of time once put to the test? (i.e., a Hanes 100% cotton shirt started to unravel at the neck after 4 washes or a screenprinted design began to fade considerably after 2 washes)
- Has anyone been sued because a shirt was more flammable than it was advertised to be?
- Has the PVCs in your printing ink caused a health problem?
Ceast and decist orders are not things I worry about in pursuing the printed apparel business if I'm planning to print original designs/artwork.
