Hi all! (Not sure which topic this would fit in)

I need your help/suggestions. I'm in the process of setting up a website to start selling my shirts. I'm not exactly setting the site up, it’s a friend of mine. Well anywho, I'm curious as to what I should prioritize

These are the things I think I should have :
Business License
Sellers Permit (is this the same if I wanted to buy at wholesale prices?)
Website
Business account

Okay for now that's all I can remember but what bugs me is what is the most important from all these?
Are they all needed or can I go by without having a business license? I want to be legit and at the same time tackle only what is necessary. Also, should I worry about all these legal things first or worry about getting a website up and running to sell my tees.

Gosh, I said a whole lot. But I would really appreciate any advice, feedback, and such.

they are all important when you are serious sheryl.

sooner or later you will need them in place.

i find the most important thing is spending time researching the market place etc.....before you go ahead with the legality and the costs envolved.

T-BOT gave you sound advice. The most important thing is to research and get all your plans down. Set goals (write them down) and evaluate by using a time line to your plan. This helped me to stay on task. I had a plan and a time line to stick too. This is just my 2 cents worth.

i find the easiest way to go about it is find a shirt or fashion website that matches the market you wish to target....then try and get pointers from their business practices...ie...research or different ques that you can pick up from their website....hope it helps..

I'm in a similar situation, but I know my market, have pricing, designers, sales outlets, but I have no product to sell and no legal set up. I need to know where to get the cheapest (pro club) shirts & hoodies and how to make my business legal so I can sell on the web.
