Default Outfitting Sports team in Sweats

has anyone done school sports team in sweatshirts and pants? I have a hard time finding pants nad sweats to match. A lot of times what they have in adult, may not come in youth in the same color, or they have a royal blue hoodie, but no royal blue sweats. Anyone have any luck on this? Also, any good ideas on something different for a school (name on leg, number on sleeve) etc. for a basketball team (or any sport team). thanks.

For the garments, look at SanMar and Charles River Apparel.
They seem to have a good selection of youth to adult matching items.

I've just done a job for a muscle gym with vinyl down the left leg. I did some hunting for placement ideas. (all are down the left leg or across the b'hind)

Adult sizes, 6" down from the waist, centered about 5" from outside edge of pant seam. Lettering starts at top. I also did the same with the lettering stacked. Try on the pants and lay a piece of tape down the front of the thigh. The placement won't be where you think it should be until you try it on.

I saw a few samples of putting stacked letters on the outside of left leg, just in front of side seam. Centered top to bottom.
I found one sample of large letters on side of pants, but it read upside down when the person was sitting. I'm not a fan of that one.

I've also put lettering down the left sleeve. Read this for more ideas.
Hoodie sleeve placement?

I also agree with John as far as down the leg. You may also want to try possibly putting them on the buttocks of the sweat pants.

I was thinking about the buttucks, but don't you usually have to have the same amount of letters on each side? I am doing basketball and I think you woul dhave to split it up like this:

baske tball

I am not sure that would looks good. Although now that I am think, we are OSWEGO, so I could do that OSW EGO

maybe that woud work. i have done the sleeves and the legs. I was thinking of doing the numbers on the sleeve instead of the word basketball, just for something different.

When I look at clothing, it seems as though one company has a hoodie, but not the sweats to match, or they have adult sweats, but not youth sweats to match. It seems kind of screwy. thanks for the quick response.

Here is a hoodie I did for volleyball with the sleeve print.

That style works for the women, I wouldn't do it for the men's teams.
You might be able to cheat the seam by using a teflon pillow. I think it would get you closer to the seam so you don't notice it as much.

Nice hoodie.
I would make 2 comments. On the sleeve, I would reduce the width of the Y just a bit to make it blend with the other letters.

The Girl graphic could be flipped so she is tracking the volley ball on the left or switch the volleyball to the end of the title. As it is now, the ball is not in her line of vision.

Overall it looks like a winner!
