Spreadshirt is hosting a free, 40-minute online seminar on apparel merchandising. It is designed to be an introduction to key points on designing and promoting shirts and other apparel online based on our experience. It is NOT a "how to" on Spreadshirt, and this information can be applied to any print-on-demand vendors offering or the various other options for opening a store. P.S. This post could be considered promotional, as the Webinar is hosted by Spreadshirt. I talked with Rodney before posting and we decided that since our purpose is education and we aren't teaching about how to merchandise on Spreadshirt specifically, it would be OK. Apologies if it turns out to be too commercial for someone's tastes. That is not our intent.

Yes, thanks for clarifying the timing for me!
The Webinar will be a Powerpoint and Internet tour of some points on merchandising that's shown via your Web browser. You will hear Lindsay, but not see her. We are using Citrix's GoToWebinar service, which is pretty lightweight and robust from my experience. Works with IE and Firefox.
We are also going to not only allow, but encourage, questions and comments from the audience. So, expect this to be as interactive as people want it to be.
This is a first for us, so it won't be seamless I'm sure. We would like to do a series of them, so we'll be happy to have suggestions from this group as to what you would like to see covered.
Also, as mentioned, we will record them, so they will be available for on-demand playback... as long as the recording works!

Yes, we are working on getting the recording of the Webinar online. I will post here when it is ready. Thanks for the interest... and for all the folks that could attend! We got some great feedback, and are looking forward to doing more. If you have any topic ideas you want to see, send them along!

Hi, all, just an update... we do have a recording of the Webinar, but are having some conversion problems with it. I'm pretty sure we will get it worked out, just need more video file expertise than I have, so I've asked for some help from friends. :-) I'm hoping that we'll have it up this week!
