Re: Is it legal to print a word/phrase on another brand's shirt? There is definitely a fine line here. Companies like American Apparel, Gildan, etc, know that their shirts are being printed on and sold as a different brand. Companies like Calvin Klein, Under Armour, etc, expect their shirts to get to the consumer as they produced it.
Usually, you have to be an official reseller of brand like CK or UA for them to sell to you. So if you are legally purchasing the shirts from the company or official distributor, and you have the proper tax id and resale license, then you may be able to do this. But you should probably be very clear how you market the shirts, that the decoration on the shirt is being done by you and not by CK.
Since I'm not an attorney, you should probably contact one to make sure all this is ok. |
