Default Before I take the leap....please tell me....heat pressing transfers & rhinestones is safe, right??

I am getting ready to set up a heat press for transfers and rhinestones in a room that is off of my bedroom and my kid's playroom. All of the kid's bedrooms are also near this room.

I read about the lead in rhinestones, but my kids are old enough that they won't eat the rhinestones, so that shouldn't be a problem.

But then last night I read something about the fumes/chemicals from the teflon in the heat press. Now I'm wondering about this and the plastisol and other materials.

Is this all safe to be doing on the same floor and in the same area as our bedrooms and my kid's play area? I don't want to put anyone's health at risk, of course.

Please let me know -- honestly -- if these things are completely safe around children (and me!)

Thanks.

I have had none of these concerns, nor have I experienced any reason to believe the heat pressing is dangerous to one's health.
