Default Whiskey Flask ? can you imprint them?

Hi all, got a call from someone looking to put an image onto whiskey flasks. Might be 4 color or black only. Do any of you know if this can be done with ink jet transfer?
I know with my dye-sub there is usually a coating on the stainless steel mugs. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Im guessing the flask is some sort of metal. The only thing I can think of is some sort of poster ink or air drying ink. Nazdar carries ink that will work on metal. not sure how it works. You might need to just give them a buzz.
