Re: consignment sales question You have to really know and trust the store. Get everything in writing and make sure the person you are dealing with will be round when it's time to collect. This means not dealing with clerks or managers. Owners only, if possible.
Keep your inventory, and therefore your investment low to begin with. This means more frequent contact with the store to determine inventory levels.
Don't spread yourself out too thin. Experiment with one or two, figure out the nuances, then expand from there. |
