Re: Chest logo on the left, but what about the name?
someone posted an embroidery pdf chart on here with the details you are looking for. I can find it later for you if you dont. So logo on left name on right . The eye looks to the right normally.
Re: Chest logo on the left, but what about the name?
I always do a logo on left chest and name on right. I guess if I were to do only a name with no logo I would stick to the same layout and put the name on the right chest.

That's the way I'm thinking. Story is a did some freebees for a bowling team on the same league as my husband and I. I designed it and everything and they are complaining that the name is on the wrong side. I put it on the right chest where I would have put it if there was a chest logo. I guess I'll just ask from now on.

I tried to look for it but I am not having any luck, were you able to locate that chart? would be very useful I would think.
Thanks

Re: Chest logo on the left, but what about the name?
whoever said to ask the customer was right, I called our customer and he said that he wanted the name on the left as when he shakes hands with people his left chest is more exposed than his right. fair enough I guess so we did it on the left and he was happy as a clam (however can a clam be happy is my guess?)

Re: Chest logo on the left, but what about the name?
People are people and it will depend whether or not they have some type of organizational experience and will be comfortable where they are used to seeing it. Unfortunately their is no right answer and it is up to the customer to decide what they want where. I seen it both ways most of the time opposite the logo.
Re: Chest logo on the left, but what about the name?
I know it is a personal preference and up to the customer. The logic for putting the name on the right was that when shaking hands the right hand is normally extended and that is where the eye goes. Check it out to see if that logic is sound.
This is a discussion about Chest logo on the left, but what about the name? that was posted in the General T-Shirt Selling Discussion section of the forums.
