Default fonts and commercial use.

Hey everyone! I'm newbie on this forum...hope you ladies and gents can help me out!

I designed a shirt and had it printed at a print shop for about $30. When I wore it to school, a few people from my faculty wanted to know where I got it! I had about 15-20 people ask me in the last 1.5 weeks!

I am thinking of getting a few shirts printed and am wondering about using fonts for commercial use. I designed the logo but downloaded the font for free. This ITC font is for sale at fonts.com/adobe. This might be a silly question, but I just want to make sure I won't be slapped with a lawsuit for using the font I downloaded! Better safe than sorry. Thanks for reading. Cheers!

Default Re: fonts and commercial use.

Yea I'd try to find out if the author of the font allows for use or not, a lot of times when you dl the font it will come zipped with a readme txt file. A lot of times the info is in there, aka if they allow for commercial use or just personal without purchase.
