HI,,,,,,, just wandering,,,,,to now i havnt used many gildan 5000 heavy tees,,,,,,,just wandering for those who have xperience with them,,,,,HAVE YOU had any problems with them at all ?????????? washing wise/shrinking or twisting,,,,,,,anything really,, b4 i decide to buy more or not,,,because just recently ive been noticing ones i have formyself have been shrinking considerably in my normal 40oc wash,,,,
You can reasonably expect your customers to get the same results you are getting with your samples.
thing is,,,,,, ive sold them b4 hassle free and they did not shrink the ones i had for myself aftr loads of washes,,,,,,,,, and everyone swears by these tees,,,,,,,,,,wandering if ive just bought an unlucky faulty batch or something
Manufacturers do change up where their shirts are made from time to time. If you have a previous shirt, you can compare it to the newer one you have. Check the country of origin. Also check to see if the RN# is different, but I doubt that.
I have had the same experience myself. I ordered some Gildan 5000 mid 2009, shirts were fine and were perfect weight as far as I was concerned, (not too thick, not to thin) Ordered the same shirt earlier this year, two different batches from two different companies, both of the batches were considerably thinner and did shrink. In fact my first impression is that the fabric seemed 'cheap'. something has changed and I am not sure what.
Gonna be forced to go with the 2000 from now on. Cant have a product that shinks and that comes off as cheap.
