Hey guys. i ran into an issue about 6 months ago. I like American Apparel's summer tee for guys. the last time i ordered a couple hundred of these tees they were about 5 inches longer then normal. unfortunately i did not know this until they were dyed and printed on. i like the tee and want to go with them again. I just want to know if any one of you guys have run into this issue recently. Thanks in advance.
American Apparel tees are longer then a standard tee, as they are more of a fashion fitted tee, where as tees such as gildan are a more standard tee. Fashion fit tees are typically a bit longer then a standard.

Just last week I bought myself one Summer Tee to see how different they were than the 2001's. You're right, they are significantly longer than most t shirts, I'd give it a solid 4" longer than the 2001... I have no idea why... I bought myself a regular 2001 as well and things seem to have changed with those since the last time I put one on too, it was also longer than I thought, and the collar is tighter around the neck.
I had not worn an AA t shirt for 4 years until I bought those because I did not like the way they used to fit...
I bought a shirt from Ugmonk probably 6months ago that was printed on the AA summer style tee, while i must say I dont hate that shirt, it definitely gets a lot less rotation in my wardrobe.
It feels to me, like it looks stretched out, since its longer.. just my opinion
