Default Shrinking a tshirt?

I have a tshirt that I bought witch is a bit to big on me for my style, i was curious to know is there anyway to shrink a tshirt without ruining the graphic and cotton? The person I bought the tshirt from says its gildan ultra-cotton and its a 100% cotton preshrunk jersey. am i out of luck? I really dont want to put this tshirt in the dryer, tell me what you guys think

Also if this question is in the wrong thread please be free to move it mods, I wasnt sure where to ask

Wash inside out on hot and then dry on the hottest setting. Do this a couple of times. Should shrink 5 to 10%

even though it is preshrunk, it will still shrink just a little. Follow splatheads advice.
