Default Permanently make tees softer?

Hi, does soaking in salt and vinegar helps?? I am looking for a permanent effect not a temp one like using softener. Thanks!

If you are planning on eating it, or if you want it to fade, maybe. Vinegar is often used to as a neutraliser (to stop further bleaching, set dyes - things like that), but saline normally promotes fading. I don't see the combination being particularly beneficial.
