Not sure whether discussing this issue is according to the guidelines of the forum or not, so feel free to moderate if necessary.

I'm looking to buy some 'rock'/-ish shirts, in wholesale amounts, for sale in our store and to give you an idea of what I mean, I've looked into stuff like Pike, Sullen, Sthress, Iron Fist, Bleeding Star and many others... Mainly the stuff in the somewhat $ 20-30 range, nothing too expensive. I've got several others in mind but it's difficult to say which ones might be better sellers than others.

Personally I love all them 'rock' stuff (whatever they're called) and I'm somewhat familiar with their products. Currently I'm pondering which, perhaps even up-and-coming ones, are hot right now and which ones to put my money on.

One sales representative told me to put my money on a given brand, but a friend of mine told me the exact opposite - he said they're not selling at all. So you can see my problem here.

Again, if these issues are not to be discussed (?), my apologies. I'd just like to get some insight on this and exchange thoughts. Even via PM's or something.

One way to gauge might be by checking sites like MTV and MySpace music to see which bands are up and coming.

Another option would be to do some actual buyer surveys somehow to see which band merchandise people want to buy.

I really like bleeding stars clothing. They have some awsome designs. Given brands are good if you looking to sell to the mass public (like a big clothing store would) but brands like bleeding star, glamour kills, rockett clothing etc are good if you are looking to sell to the people who are looking for that particular brand (if that makes sense lol) it really just depends who you want to sell to.
