Default Single or Double Jersey?

I have a printer who does everything; makes the shirt, dyes it, prints it and then ships it. They are giving me a choice of single or double jersey. I'm not sure what they mean by that; my instinct tells me that single jersey would be alot thinner than a double jersey and that double would be the way to go. On the other hand, I don't want them to be too thick. Anybody?

Get samples! Wash them. Wear them. Then decide.

Their member name is highstyleinc, and they're on this forum. And yes they tell me they do all over printing. They can do before the shirt is sewn, or after, depending on the look you're going for.
