Hi, does anyone know how to make a shirt a little bigger or smaller?

To shrink them I either let my wife wash them

but seriously if I want to take a adult small and make it smaller for a youth I wash it in incredibly hot water and dry it for 30-40 minutes.

I did a bunch of these since I ran out of some youth tees. This dropped the size about 2 sizes. Shrunk the 100% cotton ones pretty good.

They looked like a 12-14 youth size.

Yup, very hot washing and hot tumble drying works.

As for making them bigger....do you have a large friend who would wear them for a few days?

Haha, good ideas. I'll go try them soon. Thanks for the help. Actually, does anyone know if polyester will shrink or enlarge?

Yes I have done this a few times by mistake also, and then end up refusing to give the shirt away and end up wearing around a shirt to small for me.
