Our company started last November, and we have decided to have shirts custom made.
My husband and I are in debate over a detail -- I love contrast stitching and think that would give our brand a nice distinction. He thinks it only works on women's shirts, that men wouldn't be so crazy about it.
Hanes has ls and ss t-shirts for men with contrast stitching so I know at least some must like it. Have any of you done men's shirts with contrast stitching or have an opinion of whether or not most men would like a shirt with that detail?
I have one shirt that is this way, but the stitching is a different shade of the same color. Ultimately, it depends on what your target market is. I could see it work for a young generation, but don't see my father liking it. Just something to think about. Good luck.
I only have one, that my wife bought years ago, it's says "I am out of bed and dressed ... what more do you want?" in distressed text ... she didn't like the way it fitted on me.
I might have bought that style, in younger days ... feels wierd to wear now.
I like it on big, loose, long-sleeve shirts, but I'm not a fan of it on T's. But, as said above, if it flows with the design then I can see it working. Being a fat kid I probably wouldn't wear it, though.
It's just like everything else, some people like it and some don't. There are some things that my friend looks great in that I can't pull off. I like the look of it. If it adds to the design, I would wear it, unless I tried it on and it didn't look good on me.

Hard labor kills, make t-shirts instead.
I'm 47 and really don't like contast stitching. I think it cheapens the product and will appeal to a far smaller audience. There, I said it. Now your husband can say "see, I told you so"! (That one time I was right I loved saying that to my wife)
