My grandson had a shirt on from the movie cars and the shirt lights up. How is this done?

It's probably "electroluminescence" technology.
It can be sewn into garments and it runs on a battery, or, the same stuff can also be run on household current, just not shirts... heheh

They have glasses, cups, shirts, and almost anything that one can think of using that stuff.
It's fairly cheap, but it's not really something that would be worth it really for a shirt, it's a fun thing, just not a practical thing.
(My opinion, that is...)

Someday soon your T.V. will be made of this technology, pretty soon too, after it's more widely accepted.
(They have them already, just not selling them yet)

Randy

Stick with glow in the dark inks. Cheaper and more practical.

I love this kind of post. It's like a whodunit for garments. You learn all kinds of stuff! T-shirts that light up ... shocking.
