This just came to me and I thought it would be a interesting thread. I wanted to do an informal poll on what type of t-shirts you all buy or like so I started this poll. I've tried to cover ever market as possible but you know..feel free to leave comments
The most important type of tshirt is the one that best fits the demographic have you targeted to sell you merchandise to.
Example boutiques in brentwood would not buy the Gildan G200 at any price.
The clients they have are more the American Apparel type.
But if you are selling to Nascar the Hanes Beefy tee is the shirt of choice.
Because in the end you can never cover every market

I hope this helps.
Thanks Mike. But what I'm really looking for is to see what we are all buying.
I buy pretty much all skate/snowboard gear Hurley, Volcom,Arson,Independent, any thing with a logo on it! I used to hate being a walking billboard but now I am one. Soon it will be for my own clothing line so it's all good!
Graphics & slogans, aimed at the British market. I'm trying to get to the (many) politically disillusioned and folks who are pi**ed off with the Govnmt trying to price people out of their cars.

I really don't understand people wearing stupid jokes or oh so "offensive" T-Shirts. Why in the world do you really want to show everybody openly that you're a dork??
I tend to either wear tees..with one of my company logos.. or a tee with cool graphics.. im not much for slogan or shirts with just words myslef.. i like tees that look differant from ones you see on anyone else.. im not a follower at all.. and will just pick what i like color and style wise.. I like retro camp look or surf or race tees..
I honestly don't buy other people's shirts anymore. I have so many of my own that I usually just wear my own shirts. The other stuff I have probably came from a band I saw in concert or a competitor's sample i bought to check them out.

For the same reason people wear almost every other t-shirt: it states their group affiliation to passers by. In this case it announces their sense of humour (for better or worse) rather than their sport's team, hometown, aesthetic leanings, political stance, etc.
Most of the t-shirts in my closet are of the undecorated variety. Sad but true. It's just because my clothes budget goes to work clothes, and I can't really wear graphic tees to work.
Mostly all my shirts are UFC, some Mixed Martial Arts, or Fight Wear. I don't fight, but I am a HUGE fan. I am starting my own line of fight wear, so guess what I'll be wearing in a few weeks.
