Hey guys, im new here so hello to every1. i just wanted to collect some info to see what you guys think about clothing lines that are around at the moment, for example, Affliction and Ed hardy type clothing. Ibeen looking at these clothing lines mainly bcos i prefer their style of more raw and edgy hand drawn designs and the way the garments are worn looking etc. ive put couple of questions below based on affliction and ed hardys clothes but can also relate to any that are in the same edgy raw market , hope you guys can help, no matter where you are. id appreciate it. thanks.
What clothing brands do you like?
Do you buy any in particular, who? how often?
How much amonth would you say you spend on tee shirts/thermals/hooded sweates?
What attracts you to the brand? art work, colour?
how would you normally find out about new lines or designs or even new and up
and coming brands?
what do you think of the prices of clothing lines like affliction? is it too expensive, or are you happy to pay a higher price knowing they are higher quality and have special features, like washed effects and each design is limited in number, or are different from other items you normally see.?
how much would you normally be willing to pay for a tshirt like affliction etc?
If you like the idea of designs been limited to a certain number, how many of each design?
Do you buy clothing online? how often if so??
thanks for reading guys, hope u can help with my questionairre.
While you're welcome to try and use us for market research, and many of us do buy t-shirts, you're going to get a pretty skewed perspective by asking here. Unless your target audience is going to be t-shirt makers (tough sell!) I would target your market research to potential customers.
my gut feeling would be, if you are starting a label, figure out what type of target market you would be focusing on, and then direct your questions to those people. ie: if you are doing a sportswear label ask people who wear nike and adidas those questions. then your responses will be more specific and the data will be more meaningful
yes, what others have said is true. first identify who your target market is. who do you think will be suited to your tshirt. then design the questionnaire by keeping in mind about your segment. your main objective in doing the research should be to identify their buying behaviour, trends, what do they perceive value as and so on. you can ask us to add questions or help you deisgn one, but as for answering the questions...its your target market who has to do it. any help is welcomed. cheers
