Anybody ever use designs from these shirt sites as inspiration for your own original designs? I have a small retail rack at a local store and I'll take 'gag' shirts or shirts with funny phrases and make my own layouts for them. Was wondering if anybody did similar things.

Yes thinkgeek has hilarious shirts. And some cool books like 'surviving a zombie invasion' and much more
