Does anyone know where AE gets their male vintage tee's or where someone may find that quality of tee.

They probably get them custom made to their specifications. Meaning they are probably not available wholesale.

You might be able to find comparable shirts with a little testing of different companies samples. Like Alternative Apparel, american apparel, article1.net, theapparelagents.com, Alstyle 1701, etc.

most large clothing companies do private label tees & unless you get their direct manufacture to mimic their tee, you are better off going through the bigger blank companies. You would have to do a high minimum to have custom made garments.
There is a company that does minimums of 144 pieces. They do custom washes, stitching, dying etc.
