I've got an order for orange t-shirts to fill.... That's awesome, first order from someone that I know will pay.

Here's my problem. Gildan 2000's come in 3 different oranges.

I'm trying to match University Of Illinois orange. It's the same as the Chicago Bears, and probably every sports team that uses orange.

Which one do I need? Orange, Tangerine, or safety orange?

I would think regular old orange, but on blank apparel's site it looks way off, and tangerine looks right.

Here's the color I need Illinois Fighting Illini Jumbo Arch Illinois Crew Sweatshirt - Orange .

I would like to get these ordered before cutoff today.

Alpha has a color chart that you can use to match the colors you are looking for https://www.alphashirt.com/cgi-bin/o...r/b2bColorLP.w try this also.. look for a Gilden Tshirt chart is a physical chart with every color gilden carries so you can actually see what the color looks like.. greys especially since the internet does greys no justice.

We got one at the ISS show so I am not sure where you can find one..hopefully someone can chime in and let you. We have our right above the computer so I can color match my orders..

Also, you may be able to find the CMYK color chart for the University school colors I found Florida Gator colors just by googling it..


Safety Orange is more for construction type shirts.. or brighter orange shirts

Well, I've got the pantone code for it (158), the alpha link doesn't find any gildan 2000's or any regular tees for it.

Then when I looked at the options for oranges it shows gildan g200 (2000?) as almost pink, but all the other gildan "oranges" are what I want. I'm wondering if alpha/broder/whoever just has a bad pic for that color.

I've not used Gildan, but the Tangerine orange I purchased on a few other shirts, Jerzees in particular, has a slightly reddish tint to it. I've normally found plain old orange to be the bright orange.

I got a pantone code from gildan's site. It seems the "orange" is really close. That image on alpha's site must just be way off.

you want just regular orange. people love that color lately ive done a bunch in that color.
