Hello everybody, it's been some time since I posted something but I've been lurking around as usual.
Done some digging and didn't really see what I'm looking for so here I am.

*Sigh
I've moved to the City of Hong Kong, and I've been desperately looking for a source for good blank t-shirts.
Before coming here I thought "yea HK is so near China I can get blanks from there easy". But it's much harder than I expected. So wish I'm back in the US right now.
I've looked at alibaba and globalsource and there are a TON of suppliers. However they only do large quantities and their quality is questionable.

Anyway, if anyone would help point me to the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it!! I'll list what I'm looking for in point form since it's easier.:

1. Better-quality, fashionable, blank apparels something like American Apparel/Alternative Apparel, or perhaps bamboo.

2. Only looking for a small quantity, say 500 or less total, with different sizes and colors.

3. Preferably eco-friendly.

Read this post (http://www.t-shirtforums.com/wholesa...ts/t62977.html) and learned about the risk regarding sourcing from China. Scary, and they probably don't want to entertain a small customer like me anyways.

Should I really order blank t-shirts online and have them shipped from the US?
Shipping cost will make me cry.

I am assuming you are referring to Mainland China as Hong Kong is in China. Your best bet would be to skip over to Shenzhen. (Lo Wou area) Use alibaba to find suppliers in that area and hop on the train and go take a look. Many will tell you online that they only do large orders but if you visit them 99% of the time they will source you any amount you ask for.

Yeah I was referring "China" to Mainland China.

It's back to alibaba I suppose. Found a bamboo apparel manufacturer in Shan Dong, then I realized it's all the way up North.

I am also in Hong Kong and planning to start a T-shirt business here but don't even know where to start. I am a very very new newbie. Could you lend me a hand on where to get quality transfer papers and inks here in Hong Kong? or how do you do it? I am looking into buying JPSS here in HK but seems they do not have distributors here. I am also looking into buying a heat press machine, an inkjet printer and some pigment ink but don't even know what is good and where to look, not mention the t shirts. I would appreciate your kind help very much as we are in the same city.

Do you know where to get JPSS papers in HK?

And is the China brand heat press machine trustworthy?

May be we can gather together to order bigger quantity of t shirts so we have more choices of the manufacturers?
