Default 30/1 vs 40/1 t-shirts - any experience with Tultex brand?

I am thinking about using Tultex tear away tags for my blanks. Has anyone used Tultex and what is your opinion of them. Also, how much difference will it make if I print on 30/1 or 40/1 fine knit.

Thanks I appreciate any feedback

I have done a couple thousand prints with the tultex 2020tc. (the fine, not the ultra fine) and I really like these shirts! They are definitely form fitting/athletic cut.. The 'GIRLY' style of these ****s run VERY tight. When we printed the tags on the back we sized their medium with a small sizing. to make it more clear..

what TULTEX(girly) consider a MEDIUM- i consider a small...

PRO's:
-very very soft and comfortable, i dont want to take it off
-great fit
-semi stretchy
-tagless
-good color selection

CON's:
-very light weight.. i just weighted a tultex girls (what they say is a medium) with print and it was about than 4 oz.
-very thin.. you can see through the whites.
-very thin part 2.. since they are so thin, screen printing will feel that much thicker.
-i dont think they discharge

I hear the CYGNUS brand is the same cut and feel but a little thicker.. only got 1 sample of this. anyways good luck.

That was awesome, thank you. I did get a sample but I wanted to know what others thought and if people think they compare to the top brands like AA cause you can't beat the price.

It is always good to see the pros and cons of our brand from a customer point of view. Thanks Brianmot!

Sammyt25 - What did you think about the sample you got? We find that most people really like Tultex because it does compare to AA in many ways, especially fit and feel. Also, as the brand continues to grow we are constantly adding new colors to keep up with demand. All Tultex products are dischargeable too. So you're right, you definitely can't beat the price.

Tultex is great! Probably the best T shirt for the money on the market today. 30/1 or 30 singles represents 30 strands per square inch. 40/1 or 40 singles represents 40 strands per square inch. Naturally this means the 40/1 is finer and softer. The only downside is currently the tultex 40/1 only comes in the color black.
