Comparing Prices... Free Shipping vs. Charged Shipping
Comparing Prices... Free Shipping vs. Charged Shipping
How do you compare blank prices?
Is there a trick?
Company A has free shipping... Company B has lower "per piece prices", but has a shipping charge.
It's a pain to open two browsers (or more)... fill a shopping cart with the exact same order for both Company A and B (Maybe C and D too)... then see which one has a lower total.
Am I trying too hard?
Is there a formula? i.e. if the free shipping site charges "X" amount more per shirt and "X" is more than "Y" cents... go with the one that charges shipping?
They don't make it easy to price comparison the blanks now, do they?
Re: Comparing Prices... Free Shipping vs. Charged Shipping
Brett, free shipping is a misnomer you pay one way or another for the shipping. A full case (72 shirts) of Gildan XL 2000 weighs about 37 lbs. You can go to UPS and get the charge from there location to you and divide it by 72, add it to the shirt and thats the true cost of the shirt.
Re: Comparing Prices... Free Shipping vs. Charged Shipping
jiffyshirts.com has free and usually overnight shipping, however, their prices are higher than other sites that I use. If I need shirts asap, I go with Jiffy and pay the extra..if not, it's usually cheaper overall elsewhere.
