Looking for blank t-shirt source
New to business. Looking to use sublimation heat transfer process. Chasing source for quality t-shirts, bulk pricing, etc. Told Soft T's or Gildan is preferred, need good supplier. Have all sales tax info., 17 year old corporation, seperate divisions. Located 20 minutes from Nashville, if shipping concerns. Many thanks!! Jamarco

Re: Looking for blank t-shirt source Vapor Apparel are another source for sublimation blanks. As far as I know Gildan don't make a polyester shirt suitable for sublimation.

Re: Looking for blank t-shirt source Gildan's does make a 50/50, I use it, it's called Ultra Blend. Not sure if fits the term "suitable for sublimation" though. I think that's the hitch here.

Re: Looking for blank t-shirt source Gildan do indeed make a 50/50, but you want more polyester than that to get a good sublimation print without too much ink dropout. Put it this way: with a 50/50 you're going to lose 50% of your print.

Re: Looking for blank t-shirt source Great advise: who makes a better than 50/50 mix. I heard of a 65/35, but supplier never gave me the brand or price. Hollar back when you can. Many thanks!! JMF

Re: Looking for blank t-shirt source If anyone is in the Los Angeles, Ventura area then there is a local supplier with better prices than Jiffyshirt and their within driving distance, so saves on the shipping. Check out Coat Graphics Supply,
screen printing supplies and equipment, pad printing supplies and equipment, offset printing supplies and equipment . Jim, Esther, and the team are great!

Re: Looking for blank t-shirt source Depending on the demographic you are aiming towards and your clients need, I would recommend Hanes Beefy T for a classic t-shirt. For a more fashion forward sense, I would go with alternativeapparel.com or americanapparel.com. However, the price difference is about double but you get what you pay for.
