Default Continental???

Hello All,

I have been researching different clothing wholesalers and I seem to like Continental. Does anyone have an opinion on Continental?

Thanks,

Aaron

We use them every day in the UK, and they are opening a branch in New York - it's a great range, good colours, but the best thing about them is the texture, especially in the 100% bamboo range available next year. The cut is spot on for the market here, not sure how well it will go down in the US.
Also like the fact that they only have a small size label in the back neck, so no cross branding issues, land there's space for a label print.

I agree, continental has some nice shirts, especially with the vintage styles.

Hi Aaron,

I have several samples from Continental and the styles I have picked are great quality. I just finished email communication with one of their reps minutes ago, and all I have to say is that their customer support is super.
They may not have styles that will satisfy every market other there but if you like what you have seen so far - give them a try. Their fabrics, stitching, fit, colors are all very nice. The prices are not bad, and they are very flexible in general and always willing to work with you to fit your needs. No headaches.

I know that I should call Continental for this but... I was wondering if they have a wide variety of sizes because I have a catalog from them and they seem to have very few sizes.

Definitely call them for this. They seem pretty flexible to me, so very possible they might be able to supply you with a wider range if you need it. They might not mention too many sizes in the catalog because there isn't a great demand for them.

I personally like their women's track jackets and hoodies and men's hoodies. Men's hoodies are Euro cut therefore I can't use them

When we need bigger sizes in the UK they make them up for us - need to get 150 per size per colour, but if you need some XXL's + and can use the quantity they'll do it for you.

My biz partner and I are going to Continental's showroom tomorrow to check out their new bamboo t-shirt and organics line. In their catalog, their bamboo t-shirts are very limited in color, not like Bamboo Clothes has to offer...Continental's are way cheaper than Bamboo Clothes though...

He and I are going to pick out a selection of men's vintage tees for our Summer 07 launch.

I like continental a lot. It's good material and good quality. The only thing that I didn't like was that the t-shirts i bought were jersey so they stretched (bad choice on my part) but then i couldn't find any on their site that didn't. ANother thing is that they shrunk but not much so that wasn't bad. Continental is good though. Good CS.

I have been "wash testing" (ie wearing ) a few samples for about 4 months now. I'd say they have been through at least 30 washes each and out of all the samples I have, they have worn the best. They are still soft and have kept their color and shape. I haven't found them stretched at all.
They are a euro cut which I like but it does make them small fitting.

My only gripe is that the inside neck seams are not taped. In shirts of this great quality I would prefered a little better finish in that respect.

Thumbs up Re: Continental???

You can see their catalogue online as well as a hard copy.

Assuming you are in the U.S. the site address is

continental-usa.com

Worldwide the site address is

continentalclothing.com
