Hello,
I'm looking for affordable women's t-shirts along the lines of something with an american apparel fit. Preferably something with a tear-away tag.

So far I found, and am very satisfied with Hanes 4980 for men. Is there something like these for women?

Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks a million and thanks for reading.

Hanes Silver for Her is a decent range if you want to stick with one brand.

These are a little bit above the price bracket I'm looking for, does anyone know about something along the lines described above that's between a $2-$4 price bracket.

Alstyle/gaziani 5562 would be your best bet at those target prices. sheer jersey, ringspun, tear away tag and a fashion fit at a price much lesser than AA. The only problem is the color choices are quite limited when compared to AA.

Another option would be the new gildan 64000L. I am sure you can get a good deal on them with most of the big wholesalers. And then there is Tultex from TSC which too would fall in the similar price range but with a better color palette than gaziani or gildan.
