I would like to use this shirt for printing a design, but I'm not sure of the color. (I know, I know - I don't want to get into a huge discussion here about monitors and calibrating, etc. )
But in the model photo the tank looks a natural lime and in the other photo it looks like a bright fluorescent green. Does anyone have any idea on which end of the spectrum the tank leans toward?
Its tough to say because we don't know the shirt brand/manufacturer. There isnt enough information to even give an educated guess. You are showing us two images and asking which we think is more color accurate.. well who knows!
one image is titled "Lime green" and other "Cotton candy"... maybe both are accurate and they aren't even the same shirt!
If are buying blanks, the producer will usually provide a 'swatch chart' of the color shirts they will provide a PMS color match that will give you a better idea of the true shirt color. This is definitely a question you should ask the manufacturer. good luck.
I guess it would help if I specified the brand. HYP clothing. Style#HY144. It's the same shirt...just my bad typing in the filename. Just asking if anyone knows this brand so I can get an opinion before I ask my printer. Thanks.
I hate to state the obvious, but... buy a sample? If it was my gamble I'd guess the model shot is the more accurate colour, but maybe that's just wishful thinking because I like it better
