Default seeking LONDON based blank t-shirt suppliers

hi everyone, i'm currently on the lookout of suppliers, where can i get my hands on quality modern style t-shirts, polo's and hoodies.....my new brand will be targeting the premium market, so quality and style is top of the list ...must also be based in London or UK. Ihave found a company called Continental, which have sent some great samples, but i would like to check out one more company of the dsame standard for comparison....thank you

In my opinion, i think you may need to review your target market i.e premium as the competion you will be up againest at this level will be cut and sew, with attention to detailing which your not going to get with blanks. As far as i am aware Continental are the best in UK for entry level...... that is unles you have a few thousand £££ to cut and sew your own.

i understand that, thank you, however we do intend to cut our own shapes in the near future....having worked in various stores, boutiques and also being a buyer, i have over the years built some valuable contacts in which some stores already will carry the brand and also some online sites that currently sell premium brands have agreed to stock.
The key point that will make our brand interesting will be the limited and collectors value the brand appeal will have...the brand will be numbered and athenticated and packaged, also i have a few friends in London based PR companies that will showcase the brand stragically with the help of a few celebrities....but you make a valid point and i appreciate the reply..i have as we speak arranged a visit to a manufacturer who will look at our ideas on shapes and he says he can match Continental prices...this seems interesting...my partner will be meeting this factory 2moro, so we will see..once again i thank you for your time and valid response
kind regards

Skynight congratulations on your progress so far!! you sound like you have the foot in the door already! Always a good start with the contacts you have I work in merchandising, but i also am planning on getting my own line out there at some point. I am a screenprinter also with my own set up, have a textiles degree and im on illustrator and pattern cutting nightcourses, this is because i fear most retailers will be able to tell the difference between blanks and cut and sew, so hopefully i will be able to design and pattern piece my own for sampling.....regarding the manufacturer matching Continental prices, if you dont mind me asking what are the minimums, because it definatly does sound interesting if they are within budget espeially when you are starting up!!

I have also been looked at continental, just the plain t-shirts, I am yet to get some samples, would you be able to tell me whether their stitching is of a reasonable quality?

With regards to quality of stitching, i have to say there is no problem, they look well made..i have just ordered a second patch for quality testing ( wearability and washing), to be honest the samples look good against such brands as D&G, D2, Dior, Galliano and alike.

I have printed on continental and they are very good i must admit, i wouldn't bother with anywhere else, as far as UK based blank suppliers are concerned.
