Default 5.5 or 6.1 oz

Can I use 5.5 oz shirts for my first round of shirts for my clothing line to start or should I do 6.1 oz. Please respond asap!

Bobby,

You don't really expect an intelligent answer to a question like this, do you?

Who are you, what are you selling, who are you selling to? Are you selling to construction workers or high school skateboarders? Men, women, or both?

All these questions are critical to give you advice on what shirts you should be carrying. Depending on your circumstances, the correct answer could even be neither. Maybe you need a lighter one or maybe you need a heavier one.

Tell us about you so we can offer some help.

Sorry I was in a rush when I wrote that. I am heat pressing them. It is for id say teens and young adults both male and female. I want pretty much just a regular shirt for now until I can get money to seperate men and womens style shirts, I wanna go with gildan, these will be white shirts to start out with aswell...

For young adults, I would stick with the 5.5 oz. A lot of companies use an even lighter weight for that market. But those are more expensive.

For a good, basic, reasonably priced tee, the gildan 5.5 is a good choice.

I always thought I was a 6.1 oz type of dude, but recently started wearing Gildan 5000's (the 5.5 ozers) and I like them way better... I also thought I was a 100% cotton guy, but I got some 50/50's and am really enjoying them...

Our 23rd old son prefers the FOL 5.5oz over the Hanes 6.1, if that's any help....
