Here's an interview I did with Liz from Simply Cotton at the 2009 ISS Tradeshow.

This was a spur of the moment interview. I saw her booth next to the OversizedFilm.com booth and asked if she'd do a video interview. She was nice enough to say yes

I am trying to watch this video, and for some reason its taking for ever. This is on my new computer too which is super fast. I have been trying for like ten minutes and have so far only seen 19 seconds of it. I will try again. Is anyone else having a problem or is it just me. I wonder if my cable is having issues, although all other things seem to be working fine.

I think youtube might be still getting it distributed to all their servers. I noticed it went to the NY server first instead of the San Jose one.

The low quality version might load faster at the moment.

Well that one worked a little faster but still had alot of pauses. I got thru it though

I have never heard of that company before and seems like they do some really cool stuff. I liked those burnout raglans, those looked really nice. How did their garments feel? I know you felt them Rodney

Also did they give you any idea of pricing on their garments? Was I correct in hearing that they do not carry any blank stock, but everything is custom made? It would be cool if they carried some standard blanks and they look pretty nice.

Thanks so much for taking the time for the interview Rodney, it was just like being there (well except for the pauses haha) Did you like them?

She gave me the price sheet and her card, but I can't seem to find it at the moment under all the other stuff I picked up at the show

If you call or email, they should be able to hook you up.

I think that's correct. Not 100% sure. She said that they have stock "bodies", which are basically *styles* of t-shirts that you can order. But everything is custom to your specs.

Yep, I really liked the quality there. I posted it on twitter and already got feedback from one person who had already used them and was impressed with the quality.

I think it'd be fun to do a whole bunch of interviews like this for future shows for those people who don't get to make it. I don't if that would be possible, I'll find out.

I tried emailing her but the email bounced back. It's basically liz at their website name which is SimplyCottonInc
