They have a good variety of colors and are quite soft, plus have numerous styles to work with (destroyed, ocean wash, etc). Most any t-shirt is good for screen printing. The real question, when starting a clothing line and picking a blank to use is "which t-shirts would best fit my particular brand"
For some brands, Hanes will be perfect, for other brands Gildan will be top notch, for other brands still, both those options would be a horrible choice and American Apparel, Alternative Apparel, or one of the many other
fashion blank t-shirt brands would be a better choice.
Like Tom suggested, sometimes if you're having a tough time deciding, it can be a good idea to get sample blanks from a variety of manufacturers to see which one best fits *your* needs.
